Vego Trust is an NGO in TamilNadu located at Pudukkottai. Vego Trust is a non-profit organization focused on hunger alleviation, education, women empowerment, poverty alleviation and public health. We are proud to have played a small role in enabling across all segments of our society. We strive never to take the easy path, but always the honest one. We practice integrity in all our actions and try to do the right thing by every stakeholder.
People in need approach the Vego Trust through doctors, websites, and through social media. We save the children who were good in academics but due to poor economic conditions could not continue their studies. We help the old people who were neglected by their own families. We focus to improve the quality of education for elementary and high school children. Our main aim is to ensure that every child passes out the high school with the requisite knowledge, skills, and confidence to face the future. Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world and the most effective way to break out the cycle of poverty, Yet We are committed to work together with unconditional respect, freedom, trust and support for each other
Enlightening the goodwill of communities: very often, people of a community want to help those in need, but do not know how they can contributive or don’t have free time to make significant individual contribution. At Vego Trust, we enlighten the goodwill of community members, organizing and coordinating contributions, so as to effectively bring to people in need.
Our organization strives to eliminate hunger by implementing, alongside; Vego also aims at countering malnutrition and supporting the right to education of socioeconomically disadvantaged children. Since 2018, Vego has been concerting all its efforts towards; we are continuously leveraging technology to multiply our reach.
To focus on the poor , marginalized , less privileged and the underprivileged, women and children self reliant in the primary needs of life such as food, clothing and shelter and to carry on social action programs, training's, workshops, development initiatives, micro finance programmes for their rehabilitation and to engage in relief, rehabilitation and emergency activities.
